A very informative visit to the history of Chinese Herbal Tea. A well known Herbalist from Ipoh, Dr Ho Yan Hor. The tour will take about 20 mins and at the end you will be given to taste 6 types of teas. Admission is free. Highly recommended to visit!

Quite an impressive small museum that showcase the chronology of the herbal tea wonders. The entry was free and they offered brief introduction upon entering to the exhibition space. You get the taste their teas for free and deals are available for buying their products at the end of the tour. Pretty worthy and friendly vibes with the aunties. Expect some waiting time during weekend as they limit the amount of visitors to enter the building. That's quite a good strategy for better experience. Highly recommended.

Discover the great personal story of a local Chinese doctor, businessman and advertising genius! The museum is free charge, and you can taste (and buy) herbal tea at the end of the tour. I personally loved the place and the products, 100% recommended!

Self guided tour here but booking has to be made in advance as they limit the number of people in the museum. Interesting life behind the founder of Ho Yan Hor. I guess hard work and perseverance really goes a long way. Entrance is free but left with 2 chilled can of herbal tea to combat the heat. They also let you sample the many other tea that they had for free.

Reserved a spot via WhatsApp resulting in no waiting time. Entrance is free of charge. The museum is small but interesting, with history about the founder Ho Yan Hor and his herbal tea company. Best part of the experience is the complementary herbal tea tasting session in the end. Visitors may choose to purchase tea bags at this point. Staff are very friendly and did not give any pressure regarding buying their products. The entire experience took 30 minutes maximum.

This is the place where the founder started his business and he stayed here. It's an old double storey shop house. The staff is friendly and give a brief history about the founder and the place. Then we proceed to explore the museum. The museum is very clean and well maintained. The herbal tea is served after the tour and you may purchase from them. The tea is nice.
